ITO signed official supplier contract with the Japan Hockey Association
2024.04.09
We are pleased to announce that we have signed an official supplier contract with the Japan Hockey Association.
Contract background:
The Japanese national hockey team introduced physiotherapy devices on full scale at the Kawasaki Heavy Industries Hockey Stadium, the training camp of the Japanese national team, following its introduction at the 2006 Asian Games in Doha. We have provided support through seminars on physical therapy devices and its effective usage methods.
Additionally, we have provided optimal support tailored to the condition of the team during important tournaments, overseas trips, and training camps.
In hockey, which involves frequent dribbling with a low stance and sudden changes in direction, stability of core muscles and flexibility around the hips and groin are important.
The habit of conditioning with physiotherapy devices, which we have built up together with the national team trainers and players, is now becoming an essential part of the players' care.
With this contract, our therapy devices will be available for prompt use not only during training camps and overseas trips but throughout the year.
We will continue to support the success of the Japan national hockey team through our physiotherapy devices and guidance on their usage.
